This DC in board cable is for A1465 11" Macbook Airs from 2013-2015. The 2015 Macbook Air is still being manufactured into 2018.
A bad DC-In board cable can
- Keep the green/orange light from coming on the charger.
- Prevent audio from working.
- Keep the left USB port from working.
- Disable the backlight by causing SMC_LID to be held low.
- Cause the laptop to think it is closed.
This cable very commonly corrodes.
